I received an email from my friend, Ann, in regards to a job opening in Wisconsin. Neat! So I applied. It doesn't hurt to try, right? One of the requirements to submit an application was to fill out this long questionnaire. As I was going through it it got me thinking about some things in regards to my career field. What if I went back to school and got my degree to be an RN? I went online to my Alma mater, Anoka Ramsey Community College, and saw they have a two year option for the Registered Nurse Degree. Hmmmm....
I calculated the tuition, it's not bad but I will definitely need financial aid. If I start this summer I could be done the summer of 2011.
But these questions popped up.
Is this feasable with what Daddy and I are going through right now?
Will they consider the fact I already took 4 of the elective classes...almost 10 years ago and let me not retake them?
If so will I be able to handle taking 4 classes each semester? Online and/or at night?
How does this affect us in possibly adopting again? Are we going to have to wait until Little Man is over 5 (when I'll be done)?
Daddy's been talking about going back to school the past 5 years. Will we be able to live with us both in school? Either back to back or at the same time?
I'd love your thoughts and feedback.

Pray...God has all the answers we need. My husband and i started our life together both at school with a little one and it was not easy, to tell you the truth I do not remember a lot of our first child's younger years. WE hardly saw each other because we took turns working, being with our child or going to school to keep the cost of daycare down. BUT it was all worth it in the end and I do not regret both of us going to school at the same time. We also recently went through a time when "B" was getting his masters, what was hectic was he was working full-time plus going to school and we had three small ones at home, again not a lot of time together. But he is done now and it seems like the time flew. You or daddy might want to see if you can find some kind of job (especially you with nursing) that will pay for your college. That is what happened for us so "b's" Master degree was payed for by his company. anyway jsut some thoughts from me....I can go into more details if you want some just let me know.
