Snow Day!

I declare today Snow Day. Boy is it snowing! I was pretty undecided whether to go into work or not. But the lack of sleep (I was up between 2am and 4am) and raspy voice and sore throat pretty much sealed the deal on me and Little Man staying home. I felt bad as he was going to spend the day with A&B but it's just not worth the risk of driving in the crud so he can have fun. As Daddy put it I would have been in tears driving in it.

I think back to when I was working before we had Little Man and would trudge out and drive in the cruddy weather to get to work. I'd white knuckle it. But now that we have Little Man I tend to think is it really worth our lives? Call me an overly cautious driver but I'd rather use up 8 hours of vacation time and be safe.

Now...I am home, about to pull my hair out and am more than ready to put Little Man and myself down for a nap. And it's not even 10am.
