Been MIA

I've been a bit busy. I had the Mom's Club Stop and Shop on Wed which was a lot of fun. The mall it was held at is not a busy mall but I did get some names and a couple shows booked. I also got to meet some wonderful ladies who also own their own business. It was really fun to talk with all of them and hear their stories on why they started their own business.

Then on Thursday morning my sister dropped off her almost 3 year old son for 2 days. Around 3pm on the same day my friend Ann arrived. We were one full house! It was alot of fun watching K and Little Man play. It was also great to have Ann here not only to help out (which was not the reason she was here. We had planned this before we knew about K coming.) but to be able to sit and chat. We stayed up until 2am Thursday and Friday night just talking.

Little Man and I went shopping with my mom yesterday. I called her on the way to her house and she mentioned how my dad is out of town and we could stop by the house. To those of you who know my family this is usually not an option. It has been about 6 1/2 years since I've stepped foot inside the house I grew up in. It was so weird! I kept looking in the cabinets, bedrooms, and closets. I'm sure my mom thought I was snooping. :) It was neat to see Little Man run around where I use to run around and play with my mom. I also found a few sheets of paper we had stuffed in the wall in the basement. It was from July 1987. I couldn't believe it was still there. There was one other sheet but it had cobwebs in the way and there was no way I was sticking my and in there. Yuck! So it'll have to sit there a few more years.

All in all it's been a busy week. I got another cold and am looking forward to this quiet week coming up. I can't believe by next Saturday it'll be November.
