Six and a half days until we move. We did our usual Saturday morning grocery run and as we were getting out of the car I told Daddy 'This is the last time we'll have to go up 3 floors to put our groceries away. And hope there's a cart by the elevator.' Which, by the way, there never is. I have lost count how many times I've gone grocery shopping by myself and had to lock the elevator so I could get all the groceries in. I am not going to miss that.
Packing...yeah...that isn't going to good. I have no idea where to start. I've packed our movies and the odds and ends that were on the entertainment center. The kitchen will most likely get packed Wednesday night. That's the last night I have a 'real' meal planned. Thursday will be leftovers (we'll be having rotini with meatballs and twisty bread on Wednesday). Cereal and or toast and eggs on Friday night and Saturday we'll be having pizza at the new house. Daddy has bought paper plates and paper bowls so I'm prepared to pack the bowls right now. Oh and the silverware, he bought plastic spoons, forks, and knives too. I better not enjoy them too much. Eat, throw. I love it! No dishwashing. :)
Today I went to my friend's house and we cut out a train on her Criket machine. We used this wallpaperish type paper (I'm drawing a blank on the name) so I can just peel off the train and stick it to the wall. It'll go in Little Man's room and he is SO excited. It's a locomotive and a caboose. There's also a lantern and crossing sign.
I must go force myself to pack some more. Or maybe I'll dig out a movie and watch it with Daddy.
By the way. Go Vikings!!!
