I suppose your wondering if I mean Day 4 but nope I mean Day 2. Daddy's car overheated on Thursday so he had to take my car to work and I missed work Thurs and Fri. Not that I'm complaining but I missed some things at work I would have liked to be at.
So tomorrow will be Day 2 with Little Man at daycare. I know you all are wondering...He LOVES it! When I picked him up on Wednesday he was barefoot, flushed, and wet with the HUGEST smile on his face. It was so good to pull up to that. I was thinking about him all day and wondered how he was doing. His daycare gal (I'll call her Ms. S. so we won't confuse her with S, Little Man's birthmom) had nothing but praise and awe over Little Man. She said he was so good. When it was time to eat she would ask him to sit at the table and he'd say 'OK' or how about taking a nap and he'd reply 'Sure'. He told her a few times he had to go potty and got on the big potty all by himself.
Also, when I pulled up a lady was dropping off her 2 daughters and I thought she looked familiar. She made a comment to Ms. S. about me looking familiar and she said where I go to church. Come to find out we go to the same church. Her mom use to teach the 3rd and 4th graders (she retired last year). I find that refreshing that member's of our church recommended Ms. S. and now a fellow member sends her 2 daughters there. By the way, Little Man is the only boy out of 6 girls.
Also, Ms. S.'s husband, R, drives a motorcycle. When he came home on Wednesday Little Man let out the loudest shriek and was SO excited to see a motorcycle up close. Now that's all Little Man talks about. 'R has a motorcycle and I got to see it!'
Oh, Daddy's car is fixed...$500 later. Ugh. I thank God we had the money to fix it even if it leaves a pit in my stomach.
Well I better go look for Little Man's shot card. Ms. S. needs a copy and I have no idea where it is. Nothing like looking for something at the last moment.
