What's with this? I dropped off our paperwork on Friday and I'm already itching to buy stuff. We going international this time around. We know our next child will be over a year (and under 3) by the time we bring he/she home. So why do I feel the urge to go out and by everything in sight? Clothes, shoes, toys, and we haven't even started the homestudy yet! I figured this time around would be different. The first time we knew we'd be placed with an infant. So we needed bottles, bibs, onesies, car seat, a stroller, toys, wipes, changing table, high chair and many other things. This time we don't need all that. Ok maybe diapers. We have 2 car seats (one in each car and can easier use the 2nd one for our future child).
I found myself asking Daddy if we can buy a shelf for our next child. Of course he gave me 'the look'. Which is the look I got the last time we were waiting and wanted to buy everything under the sun.
Hopefully I can hold myself back and not buy anything until we're matched. :)
