As Daddy's grandpa has been calling us.
I saw this story on Kare 11 a couple weeks ago and was going to blog about it and forgot. They reaired it and I'm glad they did. Click HERE to read the story.
I know a lot of you know our situation. And others (in our family) are assuming we are in this situation because (according to Daddy's grandpa) we are stupid. No we're not. If you read Kare 11's article they tell you the same thing Daddy has been telling his family for a long time. The banks actually gain when a house is foreclosed on. They don't want to work with us, or anyone. I can't even count how many phone calls I made just to talk to someone. When I finally got through they all said the same thing 'Pay $xxxx in full and you'll be fine'. This was always followed by me laughing. Seriously? If I could pay that much don't they think I'd be paying my mortgage? And why is it when I talk to a rep (FINALLY! Oh wait...it was AFTER we were foreclosed on that I finally got a hold of someone) she tells us one thing (that is INCORRECT) and when I ask for a manager she tells me something completely different (but is the truth and helpful). They need to do some serious training or something.
This economy isn't looking out for Americans it's looking out for Wall Street and big wigs. Oh, let's give all these banks billions of dollars so they can keep screwing up hard working Americans. Then in 15 years my son (and future children) will still be paying off this mess with their taxes. Smart.
I wish people would open their eyes and see what is really going on.

It is sad what has been happening..and the "big wigs" don't seem to understand that their greed has put a lot of people where they are today.
